1. Definitions

For the purposes of this notice, "the site" refers to the entire carlosjcastrog.com domain and all its routes, subdomains and versions (including previous builds of the same portfolio); "the author" refers to Carlos José Castro Galante, sole owner and developer of the site; and "content" refers to any textual, visual, audio, code or design element published or incorporated into the site, present or future.

2. Ownership

This website, in its entirety, is owned and authored by Carlos José Castro Galante. Unless explicitly stated otherwise next to a specific element, all content present on the site is original work of the author and is protected under applicable intellectual property and copyright laws, including (without limitation) Argentine intellectual property legislation and the international treaties to which Argentina is a party.

3. Protected content

This protection covers, on a non-exhaustive basis: the source code, its architecture and component logic; the visual design, art direction and interface systems; the personal brand's logo, logotype, favicon and isotype; original texts, articles and copy; photographs, covers, images, illustrations, custom icons and other graphic assets; the names of original projects (including Entiscore, FarolQ, VEREDAS, VeriMatChain AI, Castro Galante Analítica Universitaria, SpendTaskify and DuckBank, among others presented in the Projects section), blog article titles and designations used to identify the author's work; and the color palette, typography and other elements that, together, make up this personal brand's visual identity.

4. Scope

This notice applies without exception to the entire site, in both languages it is published in (Spanish and English): the home page; all of its pages and subpages, including About, Projects and each individual project (among others, Entiscore, FarolQ, VEREDAS, VeriMatChain AI, Castro Galante Analítica Universitaria, SpendTaskify and DuckBank), Services, Achievements and each individual year within Achievements, Press, Microsoft Student Ambassadors, Badges, CV, Contact and Credits; and the full body of Blog articles, each under its own slug. This list is illustrative only, not exhaustive: the notice automatically extends to any page, subpage, slug or article that exists at the time this document is published, as well as to any future content added to the site, without requiring an explicit update of this text for it to be covered.

5. Brand identity and personal name

The art direction and brand manual for this site were developed in collaboration with Teo Amorín, of the CUARTO studio. The name "Carlos José Castro Galante" and its variants in use, including the carlosjcastro and carlosjcastrog handles, both used by the author consistently across his platforms and social accounts, are personal distinctive signs and may not be used to identify third-party products, services, accounts or projects without authorization. The logo, logotype, favicon and isotype of the personal brand (based on the letter G with an interrupted ring) are the author's exclusive property. The color palette, typography and other visual guidelines are part of this brand identity. Colors themselves, as isolated chromatic values, are not generally subject to copyright under most legal frameworks; however, their combination, systematic application and association with this brand are part of its distinctive visual identity and are protected as such.

6. Blog and articles

Every article published on this site's blog, along with its images, covers, code snippets included for illustrative purposes, and associated structured data, is an individual work protected under the same terms as the rest of the site. Attribution to an external source within an article does not transfer any right over the original writing, structure or presentation of the article containing it.

7. Third-party software and licenses

This site is built on open-source software and third-party services (see credits section), each governed by its own license and subject to the rights of their respective owners. Nothing in this notice is intended to claim rights over such dependencies, their trademarks or their source code. The way these tools were combined, configured and adapted to build this particular site is, however, original authorship of the author.

8. Permitted and prohibited uses

Reading, browsing and referencing this site for personal, educational or informational purposes is permitted, including brief citation with proper attribution and a link to the original source. Reproduction, copying, distribution, modification, reverse engineering for replication purposes, or commercial exploitation of the code, design, texts, images, covers or any other element of this site without the author's prior express authorization is not permitted. Presenting any project, achievement or piece of content from this site as one's own is also not permitted.

9. Links and third-party content

Third-party names, logos, trademarks and technologies mentioned on this site (including, among others, those listed in the credits section, as well as organizations, press outlets or institutions referenced in the Achievements and Press sections) belong to their respective owners and are mentioned solely for informational and attribution purposes. Their mention does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by those owners of this site or its author. This site may contain links to external sites over whose content the author exercises no control and assumes no responsibility.

10. Infringement notices

Anyone who believes that an element of this site infringes their copyright or intellectual property rights may notify the author through the contact channels available on the site, detailing the content in question, its exact location within the site, and the ownership claimed over it. Every notice will be reviewed in good faith and, where warranted, the flagged content will be corrected or removed.

11. Changes to this notice

The author reserves the right to update or modify this notice at any time, without prior notice, to reflect changes to the site, its content or applicable law. The date of the last update is shown at the end of this document.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

This notice is governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. For any dispute arising from its interpretation or application, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the province of San Juan, Argentina, without prejudice to any rights the author may hold under international intellectual property treaties.

13. Usage requests and contact

To request usage authorization, licensing, or for any inquiry related to the rights described in this document, the author can be contacted directly through the contact channels available on this site.

I wrote this notice myself to be clear about what I protect and how, it isn't a substitute for a lawyer's advice.
